Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joe Haden is suffering from a mild hamstring injury and is questionable to play in Week 2, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Haden was instrumental in the Steelers' success defending the pass in their 21-21 tie with the Cleveland Browns in Week 1. The opposing quarterback, Tyrod Taylor, threw a single touchdown pass to Josh Gordon in the fourth quarter. Haden made a huge play on a deep pass that targeted Gordon earlier in the game.

Haden's injury could not have come at a more inopportune time. His team underperformed and failed to beat one of the more consistently bad teams in the NFL. If he doesn't make a full recovery, the Steelers may face a tough challenge containing the explosive Kansas City Chiefs offense.

While we are only a week into the regular season, the Chiefs have already established themselves as one of the most explosive teams in the league. The appeared to have made the right choice by dumping Alex Smith and selecting Patrick Mahomes as their new quarterback. Mahomes threw for 256 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 38-28 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1. The crazy part is, this was his first game as a starter. The Chiefs are hungry this year.

While Mahomes is talented, the Steelers' main concern for next week should be wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who recorded seven receptions for 169 yards and touchdowns last week. He also ran back a punt for a score. The Steelers need all the help they can get to try and contain him. If Haden is anything less than 100 percent on game day, he'll only be a liability.
