It quickly became evident that the Browns are still far from a finished product. Meanwhile, the Ravens had established themselves as the hottest team in the league by beating every notable powerhouse en route to securing the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Although the Cincinnati Bengals are still the middle of a grueling rebuild, the expected arrival of quarterback Joe Burrow is expected to provide a much-needed spark.

Pittsburgh has had to deal with some major turnover on the offensive side of the ball in recent years and that was magnified by the season-ending injury to quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Many expected the Steelers to endure a lost season without Roethlisberger under center, however, they still managed to kick things up a notch thanks to the emergence of their talented defense.

Having Roethlisberger back in the mix provides plenty of optimism for the 2020 campaign. Regardless, they will still need to address a number of notable voids on both sides of the ball if they hope to exceed expectations one again.
