The Pittsburgh Steelers improbably made the playoffs after their win over the Baltimore Ravens and the Las Vegas Raiders' overtime victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson sent his team- and the Steelers- into the playoffs with his game-winning kick. Steelers fans showed their appreciation for Carlson with their heartfelt gesture towards the Raiders kicker, as reported by Judy Battista of NFL.com.
Love this: @steelers fans have donated between $15K and $20K to three charities supported by Raiders K @DanielCarlson38 after his game-winning FG sent the Raiders and Steelers into the playoffs. Check his twitter for links to the charities if you want to donate, too.

Pittsburgh fans donated between $15 and $20k to three charities supported by Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson. That's one way to show appreciation!
Of course, Steelers fans do owe Carlson and the Raiders one, as the Las Vegas-Chargers game nearly ended in a tie, which would have eliminated Pittsburgh from the postseason.
However, thanks to Carlson's game-winning kick for the Raiders, Pittsburgh improbably made the playoffs after they had almost no chance of doing so. And Pittsburgh fans wanted Carlson to know how much it meant to them in the coolest way possible.
Carlson supports the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada, the After-School All-Stars of Greater Las Vegas, and the aTeam Ministries. Each of those charities will now benefit from the generosity of Steelers fans.
And the Steelers will benefit from a playoff appearance thanks to Las Vegas kicker Daniel Carlson.
