The Pittsburgh Steelers have gotten out to a bit of slow start to the 2018 season, currently tied for last place in the AFC North through the first five weeks.

This has led to BetOnline.ag placing the Steelers with only the third-highest betting odds to win their division this season, only ahead of the Cleveland Browns.

It has been anything but an ideal start to the 2018 season for the Steelers, who have struggled to find consistency in the first handful of games of the year. There has been a fair share of issues on both sides of the ball, but most of the attention is on the offense. This has ramped with star running back Le'Veon Bell still holding out while Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger's relationship has taken center stage.

The Steelers took a stride forward in Week 5 with a convincing 41-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Roethlisberger put together a strong performance with 250 passing yards and three touchdowns, and Brown notched six catches for 101 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, second-year running back James Conner got back on track with a strong outing, rushing for 110 yards and two touchdowns along with four receptions for 75 receiving yards. Prior to that, he was having difficulty finding his footing that brought up concerns about his ability to step in as a reliable contributor.

There is no question Pittsburgh has the offensive talent necessary to compete at a high level. Things could take another turn once Bell returns to the mix during the Week 7 bye. For the time being, this latest betting line simply shows how difficult it has become to trust the Steelers on a weekly basis.
