The Pittsburgh Steelers could be on the brink of finding a diamond in the rough after the AAF season was shut down. Standout safety Tyson Graham could be a huge addition to a Steelers secondary that has struggled over the last few years. Graham compares himself to some very solid players. If the Steelers can sign him, they'll hope he's right.

“I would compare my game to Kam Chancellor and Deone Bucannon,” Graham said prior to the 2017 NFL Draft. “The way they play the game with passion and physicality, you can see flashes of that in my game. Also, Kam Chancellor’s ability to be either down in the box or back in coverage. I had to do a lot of that my senior year, so I’m also pretty comfortable with doing both.”

Graham is a big presence in the secondary, standing at 6-3, 208 pounds. He is hoping to play his first NFL game. The Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons previously hosted Graham, but he has never had a chance to play in an NFL exhibition game. Graham was fantastic in the AAF, as well in college with the University of South Dakota, but his hope to play in the NFL never panned out as he had envisioned.

The Steelers could use Graham's skill set to add cohesion to their shaky secondary. Graham could even fill former safety Morgan Burnett's spot on the roster rather quickly.
