Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Martavis Bryant made all the news this week. Between demanding a trade, kinda/sorta hurling a teammate under the bus, to seeming at odds with coach Mike Tomlin, it has been interesting to say the least.

However, after all the hoopla has come, Martavis Bryant is as quickly trying to make it go.

“If I’m not traded, I’m going to work my butt off here, and whatever happens happens,” Bryant said, via ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. “You’re not going to hear me complaining no more. I’m just going to be quiet and let everything fall into place.”

Seems fair enough. But what about his relationship with Mike Tomlin? Is that beyond saving?

“We just sat down there and talked. It was like father and son, you know what I mean,” Bryant said via Penn Live’s Jacob Klinger. “I look at coach as a father, so we sat down and really had a good conversation and that was that.”

For the sake of the Steelers, here is to hoping whatever conversation was had between the player and coach aided in removing any potential future troubles.

Since Bryant's public trade demands and weird social media posts, he has been practicing on the scout team for Pittsburgh. Furthermore, he will not play this weekend.

I guess the only good news in this is that America got to know JuJu Smith-Schuster a bit more this week. Not only did he stiff-arm a former porn actress on Twitter, but he also recovered his beloved bike.

All things no one could make up.
