All things considered, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jeremy Maclin is unlikely to play this coming Sunday at home against the Cincinnati Bengals. Maclin injured his knee in a Week 15 road victory over the Cleveland Browns and has since then missed all of the Ravens’ practices.

That being said, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh isn’t completely ruling out Maclin’s availability for the regular-season finale showdown with Cincy. According to Ryan Mink of the Ravens’ official website, Harbaugh has a glimmer of hope that Maclin would play on Sunday.

Harbaugh said Tuesday morning that Maclin “has a chance” to play Sunday, but they will have to evaluate his health as the week progresses.

If anything, Harbaugh also said that Maclin is a quick healer, via Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun.

The Ravens need all hands on deck against Cincinnati, as a win over the Bengals would give them a spot in the playoffs. Even if they lost, though, the Ravens still can make it to the postseason if either the Buffalo Bills or the Tennessee Titans lose in Week 17.

In case Maclin would get ruled out eventually, wide receiver Mike Wallace and tight end Benjamin Watson are expected to be relied on heavily downfield by quarterback Joe Flacco.

On the season, Maclin is third on the Ravens with 440 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 40 receptions.
