After Deebo Samuel requested a trade from the San Francisco 49ers, rumors have been swirling regarding his future with the franchise. Of course, just because he requested a trade, doesn't mean the 49ers intend to honor his request. Samuel was spotted out at a club on Saturday night, and it seems some fans tried to use his appearance as an opportunity to convince him to stay with the Niners. In a video shared via Twitter, Samuel could be seen reacting to a sign asking him to stay in SF while out at the club.

At the club, a large sign reading “Deebo is staying 49ers” was being paraded around the dance floor. Someone filming the scene managed to capture Samuel's reaction to the sign, and it's safe to say he's not on the same page as the fan base. Samuel clearly did not agree with the message on the sign, making a quick gesture before laughing it off. Try as Niners fans might, it looks as if Samuel is still keen on leaving the team.

Samuel is coming off a terrific season with the Niners, during which he featured as both a running back and wide receiver, racking up 77 receptions, 1,405 yards, and 6 touchdowns through the air, alongside 59 carries, 365 yards, and 8 rushing touchdowns. Part of his trade request, however, stems from his desire to be utilized purely as a wide receiver, reducing some of the toll taken on his body that he racks up carrying the ball as a running back.

If Samuel is traded, it's widely believed he'll be signing a lucrative new contract extension with whatever team ends up landing him. Considering the nature of the wide receiver market, Samuel appears set for a massive deal, though it remains to be seen just where that deal will be signed. Based on his latest antics at the club, it doesn't appear his stance on a trade from the 49ers has shifted.
