Juszczyk is widely regarded as one of the best fullbacks in football. He has made the Pro Bowl in four consecutive seasons, including each of the last three with the Niners.
The 28-year-old is also a dependable receiver coming out of the backfield. Juszczyk has topped 300 yards on multiple occasions, and he even caught a touchdown pass during Super Bowl 54.
In spite of San Francisco's loss in that game, Juszczyk took time to defend quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who struggled tremendously in the fourth quarter.

“Honestly that's been one of the most frustrating parts of the whole loss, is seeing the criticism of Kyle and of Jimmy,” Juszczyk said. “Those are two guys that have absolutely nothing to prove to the rest of the guys in the locker room.
“You look at Jimmy, for people that are stats guys, 4,000 yards passing, better than a 2-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio, 70 percent completion, you just look at that, that's a phenomenal quarterback,” Juszczyk added. “Anybody's going to sign up for that early in the season. But for whatever reason, Jimmy just seems to get this extra criticism, this extra heat. But I think at one point in the game, he's like 19 for 22, 180 yards and a touchdown.”
Juszczyk has been a leader in the locker room, and he is one of the best run blockers at the fullback spot.
The 49ers will keep him in the hopes he can once again prove to be a staple of Kyle Shanahan's offensive attack.
