With training camp just around the corner, free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant still finds himself without a new team. However, there has been some speculation that the San Francisco 49ers could have him on their radar.
Bryant made it known that he would prefer to sign with San Francisco. According to Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman, there is a strong possibility that it comes to fruition.

Of course, this is all just mere speculation at this point. That said, the signing would certainly make sense for both sides.
There has been plenty of hype surrounding the 49ers this offseason. However, their success is largely reliant on an unproven quarterback and a mediocre receiving corps. Quarterback Jimmy Garappolo showed plenty of promise during the final stretch of the 2017 campaign. San Francisco should still do what it can to provide him with as much firepower as possible.
Their receiving corps is currently headed by Marquise Goodwin and Pierre Garcon. They also managed to add a promising prospect in the 2018 NFL Draft in wide receiver Dante Pettis. However, they hardly boast any of the star power Bryant brings to the table. That said, his status as one of the most decorated wideouts in Cowboys history would certainly add a new dynamic to the offense.
