New San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders made his debut in red gold on Sunday in the team's Week 8 matchup with the Carolina Panthers.
Sanders scored a touchdown in his first game with the 49ers, hauling in a four-yard goal line reception to break the scoreless tie in Santa Clara, California (via NFL).

The 49ers acquired Sanders and a 2020 first-round pick last week ahead of Tuesday's NFL trade deadline in a deal with the Broncos for a third- and fourth-round pick in next year's draft class.
He's a two-time Pro-Bowl wideout who won a Super Bowl with the Broncos. However, the 32-year-old Sanders will be a free agent at the conclusion of the 2019 season, and with the Broncos in disarray—they lost today to the Indianapolis Colts, giving up a game-winning field goal—Denver decided to part with the veteran.
