The San Francisco 49ers acquired wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders in a trade with the Denver Broncos on Tuesday, and afterward, Broncos reporters caught Sanders as he was leaving the Denver facility.
Sanders seemed disappointed that his run with the Broncos was over, but he also expressed excitement for his new future with the 49ers:

Through seven games this season, Sanders has logged 30 catches for 367 yards and a couple of touchdowns.
The fact that Sanders has actually looked spry this year is amazing considering he suffered a torn Achilles last December, a typically debilitating injury that generally takes around a year to fully heal.
However, Sanders has been available since Week 1 and has been very productive.

He spent his first four NFL seasons with the Steelers, but did not become an impact player until his third year when he caught 44 passes for 626 yards and a score.
Sanders did not truly break out until he arrived in Denver in 2014, when he hauled in 101 receptions for 1,404 yards and nine touchdowns, making his first Pro Bowl as a result.
He proceeded to tally three straight 1,000-yard campaigns upon joining the Broncos, helping the team win a Super Bowl in his second season with the club and making two Pro Bowl appearances along the way.
Sanders has since declined, but he remains a reliable target in the aerial attack, something the 49ers desperately need.
