It seems one of San Franisco's promising young stars has caught the eye of a 49ers legend. 3-time Super Bowl champion Jerry Rice spoke about Niners rookie Brandon Aiyuk and said he already sees a lot of promise in the Arizona State standout.

“He’s going to get much better,” Rice said, per Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com. “I think, as he gets older, he’s going to continue to develop, and I’m expecting big things from him, to be honest with you. Because I think he has everything where he’s got the route running, where he’s got the hands, that awareness on the football field, and he’s one of those guys that he knows he’s a play-maker and that he could put points on the board at any time.”

Rice acknowledged that the San Francisco's 2020 first round pick still has a lot of room to grow and develop. Nonetheless, he already has big expectations for Aiyuk in the future.
