Jerry Rice is widely considered as the greatest wide receiver in NFL history and one of the greatest players the gridiron has ever seen. But if anyone was wondering, even at 58 years old, Rice still has the ability to make unbelievable catches, whether it’s a football or in this case, a burrito.

Yes, a burrito.

As part of a spot for Postmates, Rice caught a burrito wrapped in foil, which was launched from a cannon, on the 100-yard line. In the video, which was produced with NFL Films, the three-time Super Bowl champion was seen talking to the cannon operator about his previous attempts to catch the burrito.

Rice fumbled the initial attempt. But the former Super Bowl MVP was eventually able to complete the play, proving his knack for making difficult catches has not waned with age. His quarterback may just be a burrito cannon instead of someone like Joe Montana or Steve Young, but that didn’t matter.

Hey, a catch is a catch.

Rice, who spent most of his career with the San Francisco 49ers but also played for the Oakland Raiders and the Seattle Seahawks, still holds several all-time NFL records, such as receptions (1,549), receiving yards (22,895), and touchdown receptions (197). Now, he can add a 100-yard catch of a burrito to his glowing resume.

In more serious news, meanwhile, Jerry Rice believes that the 49ers will get Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford in the offseason as the team looks to rebound from a poor 6-10 season a year after making the Super Bowl.
