Following their disappointing end to the 2017 NFL season, the Tennessee Titans came up big with a clutch victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Wild Card. However, they now face a tall task in their matchup versus the New England Patriots the AFC Divisional Round.
Needless to say, the Titans are heavy underdogs going into Foxborough. While some may feel indifferent with being labeled as the weaker team, veteran tight end Delanie Walker embraced the doubt surrounding Tennessee during an appearance on PFT Live:
“Everyone expects us to lose, let’s go out there and shock the world,” Walker said. “Guys have nothing to lose so they’re giving it all they’ve got.”
He added that the Titans will need to go in with the right mentality if they are to stand a chance against the reigning Super Bowl Champs.

Walker has been instrumental in the Titans' success this year both as a leader and a pass-catcher. The veteran recorded 74 receptions for 807 yards and three touchdowns during the regular season. Walker maintained his status as one of quarterback Marcus Mariota's favorite targets in their win over the Bills by hauling in six of his eight targets for 74 yards.
Regardless, plenty will have to work out in the Titan's favor if they are going to pull out a win on the road. That said, perhaps they can hope to capitalize on the reported turmoil surrounding the Patriots' organization.
