The Tennessee Titans pulled off a classic victory as they sent the New England Patriots packing in the Wild Card round. However, head coach Mike Vrabel knew that pulling off such a feat would take a huge toll on his entire team.

Vrabel revealed that his players were exhausted after the famous upset as they gave everything they could in the Titans' now-famous 20-13 victory over the Patriots. However, he couldn't be more proud of how his players performed.

“I think our players were just, they were ready to go,” the Titans head coach told reporters after the 20-13 win over the Patriots. “Our coaching staff did a great job, to have them prepared. You know, I told them, ‘To win the game, you’re going to have to be mentally and physically exhausted, to win this football game.’ Anytime you’re in man coverage, they are going to try to pick and rub you. There’s going to be gadgets, or throwbacks, or whatever there may be. Defensively, they are going to do things that force you to think, Ben [Jones] and Ryan [Tannehill], and make calls. We didn’t hand them anything. And that’s the one thing, they feast on bad football and we didn’t hand them anything.”

The leading man for the Titans last night was one Derrick Henry, who ran for 182 yards while looking unstoppable for Mike Vrabel's Titans against a tough New England defense. However, Tannehill and the defense also deserves credit for the hard work they put in to make the Patriots as uncomfortable at Gillette Stadium as they could.

Their upcoming tie against the Baltimore Ravens isn't going to be any easier, but the Titans are more than eager to do it all over again with head coach Vrabel preparing them for what's to come.
