Buffalo Bills cornerback Tre’Davious White, who was on the wrong side of a dirty hit from Rob Gronkowski, has yet to receive an apology from the New England Patriots tight end.
While appearing on Pro Football Talk Live, Tre’Davious White claims that Rob Gronkowski never apologized to him. Furthermore, White is unaware if any words between he and Gronk will be shared the next time the two meet on the field.
“I’ll just line up and play football,” he said.
As far as what he thinks about Gronk's totally unnecessary hit on him:
Article Continues Below“It was disgusting,” White said. “It was bad to watch. But I’m past it and I’m just looking forward to competing again with him on Sunday.”
To be relatively fair to the tight end, and probably giving him far too much a benefit of the doubt, it could be possible that he's just waiting until the two see each other in person again to offer the apology. Then again, as noted, that could simply be some benefit of the doubt giving.
White also went on to say he wants to focus on the rematch, but did admit that the aftermath of the entire debacle resulted in in him suffering from light sensitivity and a headache after the game.
