The fairy tale playoff run for the Minnesota Vikings came to an abrupt end with their embarrassing 38-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game. As a result, the Vikings are now left with more questions than answers at the quarterback position this offseason.

Case Keenum did a tremendous job filling in with the injuries to quarterbacks Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater. However, he is an impending free agent after a stellar year, and the Vikings haven't stated that they're definitely bringing him back.

Despite the uncertainty regarding his future in Minnesota, Keenum says he's not ready to shift gears toward the offseason just yet, according to ESPN's Derek Wetmore:

“I really haven’t thought too much about it,” Keenum said when asked about his pending free agency. “I love this team, I love these guys, love the coaching staff. I love this whole organization; the Wilfs are awesome. The day I signed, I got a call from the owner welcoming me to the team. They don’t have to do that, that’s really cool. … The attitude and the character and just the culture they have around here is awesome. Not to mention Minnesota itself, man, the people here have been great.”

Keenum has come a long way since his tumultuous tenure with the Los Angeles Rams, to say the least. He signed a one-year deal with the Vikings prior to the 2017 NFL season as Bradford's backup before becoming the full-fledged starter in Week 3.

As a result, Minnesota has the fortunate problem of having three starter-worthy quarterbacks on their roster. However, they are now faced with quite the dilemma of deciding who to keep as their franchise signal-caller moving forward.
