The Minnesota Vikings have wrapped up was has been an impressive 2017 regular season that saw them finish with one of the top records in the league.
Their Week 17 win over the Chicago Bears also locked them up a first-round bye in the NFC playoff picture as the second overall seed.

The Vikings put together another dominating performance on both sides of the ball against the Bears. It saw a balanced effort offensively with Case Keenum throwing for an efficient 21-of-29 completed passes for 189 yards for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, the ground game had 180 rushing yards led by Latavius Murray's big outing with 111 yards and a pair of touchdowns along with Jerick McKinnon contributed 44 yards. Minnesota's defense gave up just two scoring drives in the contest while allowing the Bears to record only 30 total rushing yards.
The first-round bye gives the Vikings the opportunity to rest their players while getting another week to game plan and prepare for their divisional round opponent. They are in an interesting position as they could become just the third team in league history to play the Super Bowl in their own home field.
Minnesota has shown to be a serious championship contender boasting the NFL's top-ranked defense that is second both against the pass and run this season. Meanwhile, Keenum has proven to be more than a capable quarterback under that can lead the team to success. Ultimately, the win Sunday over the Bears moved them a step closer to the Super Bowl.
