The New York Rangers were dealt a worrying blow during their Game 3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning after forward Ryan Strome exited the game with an apparent injury. Strome exited during the second period of the game after a big hit from Lightning forward Ondrej Palat and did not return to the contest. Naturally, Rangers fans were worried about Strome's availability for Game 4, but head coach Gerard Gallant put those anxieties to bed with his latest comments, via Arthur Staple.

Gallant confidently claimed that Strome should be “good to go” for Game 4 in Tampa Bay, signifying that his injury isn't a huge concern. That's certainly a major relief for Rangers fans and a big boost to the team's offense, who will look to get the puck past Andrei Vasilevskiy in Game 4 and extend their series lead to 3-1.

Strome has registered 9 points throughout 17 games in these playoffs. The 28-year-old has scored 2 goals and added 7 assists, though it's fair to say he's been denied of some goalscoring opportunities by sheer brilliance from opposing netminders. In all, Strome has attempted 47 shots on goal throughout the playoffs, and it's quite frankly a wonder he's only found the back of the net twice.

Still, he's having an important impact every game, forcing the defense to account for him whenever he's on the ice, while keeping opposing goaltenders on their toes. While the end product hasn't been there for Strome, having him available in Game 4 will be a crucial boost for the Rangers as they look to steal a game in Tampa.
