NBA fans certainly had their laughs with that viral “bewildered face” meme involving Nick Young shared across all social media platforms.

On Saturday, the 35-year-old free agent had some fun at his own expense by sharing the famed meme to address his reputation as a bad shot maker.

Nick Young, of course, carried that unflattering characteristic for most of his 11-year NBA career. Some pundits even claim that the 6-foot-7 swingman prefers to take (and make) difficult contested shots rather than wide-open ones.

The subject of taking bad shots, on the other hand, has become an intriguing topic of discussion in today's modern game. Taking off-balanced and ridiculously deep 3-pointers has somehow become a norm these days, with superstars like Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard uncorking long-ranged bombs on a nightly basis.

Making those types of shots guarantees a player a spot in the highlight reel, while a miss usually earns him a ticket back to the bench or on next week's episode of Shaqtin-a-Fool.

Swaggy P, meanwhile, has long been taking those ill-advised heaves long before analytics took over the league.

Nick Young is just one of several big-name players who found themselves out of the league in the 2019-20 campaign. The 3-point specialist is renowned for his marksmanship and his penchant for meme-worthy moments on the basketball court.

But at his best, Young is instant offense off the bench and a streaky shooter who can pile points in a hurry when he heats up. He last played for the Denver Nuggets in the 2018-19 season. The one-time NBA champion has career averages of 11.4 points on 41.8 percent shooting from the field and 37.6 from downtown.
