Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray found himself in some hot water after a NSFW video appeared on his Instagram story. Following the initial posting, Murray's IG account then posted a series of weird stories. The 6-foot-3 guard then deactivated his Instagram.

Murray later took to Twitter to respond to the dicey situation and claimed that his account was hacked:

After the Nuggets talent sent out the tweet, Murray's girlfriend, Harper Hempel, pleaded for the video to be deleted by anybody who had it (her tweet has since been deleted).

Murray's name started trending on social media early Sunday morning, and it eventually sparked jokes from Portland Trail Blazers stars CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard. However, it was not for the right reasons. For real, though, there is no reason for the Nuggets guard to apologize for this. In fact, he sure seems to be a victim here, at least according to him.

Certainly, whatever the perpetrator did (assuming this was a hacking and not just a mistake by Murray) is a violation of Murray and his girlfriend's privacy. Murray will likely launch an investigation to find out who the culprit is. With the suspension of the season, Murray, a 23-year-old University of Kentucky product, has a lot of time on his hands to get to the bottom of the situation.

NBA players are still coping with the abrupt suspension of the 2019-20 season due to the coronavirus outbreak. Fans, likewise, have been finding ways to kill time with no basketball or other sports to kill the boredom. Nonetheless, whatever reasons the person who did this gives, this is no excuse for participating in such a disgraceful act like this.

Hopefully, as the Nuggets star dives further into the situation, he can successfully catch the wrongdoer and put that person in their place. Until then, we will just have to wait and see how this all unfolds.
