Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray had one of the best games a Nuggets player has had in a long time. However, Murray tried to get 50 points and he did it in the worst way possible.

The last Nuggets player who had this many points in a game? Carmelo Anthony.

It's understandable wanting to get 50 points, but one probably shouldn't do it with 10 seconds remaining and his team up by eight. Besides this issue, it was a very excellent game for Jamal Murray.

He finished with 48 points, five rebounds, and four assists. The Nuggets guard shot a very efficient game at 63.3 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from three.

This is probably one of the most efficient 40+ point games we will see in a long time. One thing to look out for is what the Celtics say postgame about Murray's shot at the buzzer. It was clear they were not happy about it at all.

To those wondering, the next time the Celtics and Nuggets face each other is March 18 in Boston.

One thing to watch when they face for the second and final time this season is if the Celtics will hold a grudge for that controversial attempt and do something with Murray during the game.
