Jamal Murray came up with one of the plays of the day on Tuesday, as the Denver Nuggets took on the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.

Murray threw one down on the break, which almost resulted in a trademark LeBron James chasedown block.

Here's a look at the excellent transition play from the Nuggets' rising star:

You could clearly see in the video how LeBron James almost went for the chase-down block. He's had more than few through the years, and at one point, Jamal Murray looked like he was going to be part of James' long list of victims.

James had a quick split-second to consider the play, but he realized that he had no chance to catch Murray. LeBron still remains to be one of the more athletic players in the league — despite being at Year 17 — but even he couldn't have blocked that one from the speedy Nuggets guard.
