Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic was beyond impressed with his new teammate Aaron Gordon, who made his debut against the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday. The 25-year-old high-flyer looked comfortable in his new situation from the get-go, pitching in 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting in the Nuggets' 126-102 blowout victory.

Apart from Gordon's impressive numbers, The Joker opened up about the biggest thing that Gordon brought to the table (via Mike Singer of the Denver Post).

It's not only Jokic who Gordon has managed to impress so far. Nuggets forward JaMychal Green also lauded the former Orlando Magic star for effortlessly fitting into the Nuggets' scheme of things.

Jokic certainly made Gordon look good against the Hawks early on. AG's first official bucket for the Nuggets, a jumper near the top of the key, was courtesy of a pinpoint Jokic pass.

The MVP frontrunner also rewarded a cutting Gordon early on, setting him up for a beautiful two-handed reverse dunk.

Gordon, of course, is used to playing with another European center named Nikola during his tenure with the Magic. While Vucevic is also special talent in his own right, AG has never had a teammate of Jokic's caliber, someone who can create plays for his teammates at the five spot.

Jokic finished with another near triple-double on Sunday, tallying 16 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, two blocks, and one steal in 28 minutes of action. After a rough start early in the season, the Nuggets have improved to 28-18 and hold the fifth spot in the Western Conference. The addition of Gordon makes the stacked squad a dangerous opponent for any team come the NBA Playoffs.

For sure, we'll see more amazing plays from Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordon in the coming games.
