The Denver Nuggets have recently learned that star Jamal Murray will be out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL. While that's wildly tragic, and puts a bit of a damper on their postseason hopes, at least they still have Nikola Jokic.

At this point, it's unfair to Jokic to say that he's just the best passing center in the game. He might just be the best passer in the league after this play against the Houston Rockets:

Okay, so Jokic might not be athletic or explosive in any way, but who really needs those things when you have legitimate superpowers? The Nuggets star is riding passes like these to the tune of 8.8 assists per game as a legitimate center.

The numbers back up his flash too, as The Joker is currently sporting a near 3:1 assist-to-turnover ratio this season. The do-it-all center, in fact, is having an absolute romp over the league (26 points, 10.9 rebounds, and the aforementioned 8.8 assists per game with a PER of 30.9) and is currently the favorite to win his first MVP award.

With the Nuggets' embarrassing amount of cutters and solid play calling from head coach Mike Malone, they are perhaps one of the most sound teams in the league offensively, even without Jamal Murray. With Jokic leading the team, it would surprise no one to see them in the Western Conference Finals.

So before that happens and he becomes legitimately popular, look up this play and the army of others just like it, before the best center in the NBA (you heard me) becomes mainstream.
