Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic won't be winning any sprint contests anytime soon. However, The Joker looked uncharacteristically agile on one particular play against the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center on Wednesday.

With under two minutes left before halftime, Jokic caught his defender Jusuf Nurkic napping at the top of the key and turned on the jets.

After blowing by the Bosnian Beast, the Serbian used a deceiving euro step to completely evade Robert Covington's help defense. The MVP frontrunner put the cherry on the top of that highlight by finishing with a two-handed jam.

Now that's speed and athleticism in one play. Are we sure this is the same Nikola Jokic we're seeing? The Nuggets star is supposed to be a slow, flat-footed big man, right?

Sure, Air Jokic won't become a thing any time soon. His move might not be as graceful as when a guard does it, but Jokic certainly fooled the Blazers defense on this play.

With Jamal Murray set to miss the rest of the season due to a torn ACL, Jokic has definitely shifted to an even higher gear this season. The 7-foot Nuggets center averaged 26.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1.4 steals in 57 games before facing the Blazers.
