Denver Nuggets forward Paul Millsap had a rather hilarious description of Nikola Jokic's exceptional passing and court vision.

The Nuggets veteran stated playing with The Joker is like getting “free cheeseburgers” with all the dimes he hands out:

“I mean, the guy's just throwing cheeseburgers. Free cheeseburgers,” Millsap said, via Harrison Wind. “Just grab as many as you can. Playing with a guy like that, it's unbelievable.”

It is not just the number of assists Jokic racks up as a big, but rather the way in which Jokic gets his assists.

The All-NBA center can dissect defenses essentially in whatever fashion he chooses. Jokic spots cutters on the low block. He can fit the ball into the tightest angles. Most notably, the Nuggets star is unafraid to throw football passes down the floor after grabbing rebounds, often leading his teammates in stride for easy layups.

But this season has been something exceptional thus far, even for a savant like Jokic.

The 25-year-old is averaging a whopping 13.5 assists through the first four games. Jokic has recorded at least 10 assists in all four games, topping out at 18 dimes in a Nuggets win over the Houston Rockets on Monday. He also has three triple-doubles in the first four games, coming up just short with nine rebounds in a Christmas Day loss to the Sacramento Kings.

Millsap is clearly thankful to have a frontcourt partner like Jokic. He adds an entirely new element to Denver's offense, which is part of what has made the Nuggets one of the best teams in the Western Conference in recent years.
