Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic is off to a blistering start this season. After a couple of stellar individual performances in their first two games, The Joker came up huge once again on Monday against the Houston Rockets as he led his team to their first win this season.

Jokic had insane numbers against Houston, tallying his second triple-double that any fantasy team owner will be ecstatic about. The Serbian finished the contest with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 18 assists. Per Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated, his monster numbers make him just the second player in NBA history to tally 70 points and 40 assists through his first three games of a season.

Nikola Jokic is now averaging 24.0 points, 12.0 boards, and 14.0 dimes in his first three games. That's historic numbers from the young Serbian.

As good as his numbers on Monday were, Jokic will be most proud of the W, as the Nuggets finally got over the hump to get themselves in the win column.

The Nuggets will be needing Jokic to put up another All-Star season this year if they want to make it back to the playoffs for the third-straight season. Obviously. Jokic's numbers won't be like this all-season long, but it's definitely nice to see him put on the pedal to the metal this early on.

With the help of Jamal Murray and a potential breakout season for Michael Porter Jr., the Nuggets are poised to be in the top four of the West this year, if everything goes as planned.
