Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. turned out to be a revelation in the Orlando Bubble where he emerged as a key contributor for his team all throughout their playoff run. The Nuggets have most likely found their guy in the 22-year old swingman and will aim to secure him for the team's future plans moving forward.

After a overachieving playoff run, the team's front office will attempt to find more ways to improve their roster, although it will probably not involve Porter.

“In talking to teams around the league, the Nuggets have made it clear: Michael Porter Jr. is not available,” said ESPN's Brian Windhorst.”Do not ask.”

The Nuggets braved through a difficult postseason run after encountering the Utah Jazz and figuring in a seven-game series which ultimately went their way.

Porter and company advanced to the second round where they had another lengthy affair with the Los Angeles Clippers where they successfully mounted another comeback down 3-1 to win the series.

The Nuggets were then stopped on their tracks when they faced the eventual NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers. They only managed to score a lone win in the series which quickly ended in five games.

Porter averaged 9.3 points and 4.7 rebounds in 16.4 minutes through 55 games played as a rookie in 2019-2020 after sitting out the 2018-2019 season due to a back injury.

The Denver-based squad believes that Porter will only improve as his career progresses. For now, they are all in and will be putting their money on the former Missouri Tiger to live up to the high expectations and prove the doubters wrong.
