Since he entered the league back in 2016, Jamal Murray has made name for himself as a good outside shooter who also has the knack of driving to the basket for easy layups. However, during the Denver Nuggets' Thursday night matchup versus the Oklahoma City Thunder, Murray showed off his prowess in mercilessly breaking his opponents' ankles.

With 4:32 left in the second quarter, Murray put on some moves before dropping Steven Adams to the floor with a vicious ankle breaker. That brought out a huge applause from the Nuggets faithful inside Pepsi Center, as well as animated reactions from his teammates sitting on the bench. He then celebrated by raising his arms while running to the other end of the court.

Murray is enjoying an impressive sophomore season and is averaging 16.2 points, including 37.4 percent from beyond the arc, to go along with 3.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 30.2 minutes per game. He is now an integral part of the Nuggets rotation and has stepped up his game in the absence of Paul Millsap, who is currently recovering from an injury.

The Nuggets are doing their best to snap out of a two-game losing streak and return to their winning ways soon. They are in eighth place in the Western Conference but have the L.A. Clippers breathing down their necks in hopes of overtaking them. The Thunder, on the other hand, lost their last outing but will look to get back on track on the night to get themselves two games clear of the Portland Trail Blazers for fifth place.
