Looks like a hefty fine will be coming Denver Nuggets coach Mike Malone's way after this emotionally charged incident on Friday.

Upset by what he deemed to be inconsistent officiating during the Nuggets' road game against the New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Arena, Malone was chewing up the referees at 9:10 mark of the third quarter.

While Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram was shooting free throws, the 48-year-old bench boss kept yapping and unleashed an expletive tirade that got him a second technical foul and immediate ejection.

Mike Malone even earned the ire of official Eric Lewis as the pair got into each other's faces before Malone was pacified and escorted out by his deputies.  The Nuggets held on a seven point-lead before his ejection and went on to secure a 94-82 lead entering the fourth period.

The Nuggets (30-14) are still in third place in the Western Conference standings and are looking to bounce back from their previous defeat to the Houston Rockets.
