New York Knicks rookie Obi Toppin may not exactly be a household name right now, but he probably will be after his performance during Sunday night's epic NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Toppin came out with one of the most memorable dunks of the evening with an epic off-the-bounce reverse slam.

It's difficult to explain the high-difficulty dunk, so it's better to just see it for yourself (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

Yup, he just did that. To try to put it into words, Toppin bounced the ball on the floor, snagged it mid-jump, and then finished with an emphatic reverse slam with two hands. Wow.

For what it's worth, Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls also came up with a similar dunk during warm-ups a few days prior. I'm not sure if Toppin saw that and decided to come up with his own variation. Be that as it may, there's no denying that both dunks were absolutely insane.

Unfortunately for Obi Toppin, it was Portland Trail Blazers stud Anfernee Simmons who came away with the Slam Dunk Contest title this year. Nonetheless, Toppin still came up with a few memorable dunks, and he should continue to make a name for himself in the NBA in the years to come.
