Team USA continues to do wonders at the Tokyo Olympics. After winning a number of medals in the first few days of the Olympics, Robert Finke did his part and gave Team USA the gold medal in the first-ever men's 800m freestyle, and he did so in thrilling fashion.

Finke was far from the top as they approached the last turn and it looked as if he was going to miss out on the podium altogether. However, Finke did the improbable and led a miraculous comeback to give Team USA the top mark in the event at the Tokyo Olympics.
Just watch this comeback, one of the most unreal comebacks in a long time. It is hard to believe, but Robert Finke really did that.

Those last 50 meters, Finke went into another gear and exploded to somehow capture the victory and send everybody into a frenzy of disbelief.
What a remarkable performance by Finkle and that gold medal hanging around his neck will feel cooler than ever after a masterful performance at the Tokyo Olympic Games.
What an absolutely unreal performance by Finke, and this has to be one of the biggest comebacks in the history of swimming and this will be remembered for a long time.
