Cher's son Elijah Blue Allman's divorce dismissal request has been denied. Allman and Marieangela King got married in 2013 and in 2021, Allman filed for divorce. The divorce was dismissed due to a “temporary support stipulation that remains in place” according to legal documents obtained by People.

King previously accused Cher of interfering with their marriage and “kidnapping” her son. She claimed the icon of hiring four men to kidnap Allman on Nov. 30, 2022 (the couple's anniversary) in New York City. The incident allegedly went down when the couple was working on their relationship and spending some time in the Big Apple.

“I am currently unaware of my husband's well-being or whereabouts. I am very concerned and worried about him,” King said in the documents that were filed in 2022. “I understand his family’s efforts to make sure he is well, and I want what is best for my husband.”

The documents also state that he is “unable to form or express a preference” about the conservatorship appointment but Cher wants to “discuss Elijah’s preferences concerning the appointment of a temporary conservator” due to his “current mental and physical health issues.”

According to Cher's lawyers, they said in court Friday that the situation is a matter of “life or death decision.”

“We need the ability today to be able to receive the money on behalf of Mr. Allman to simply be sure to safeguard it and be used for his benefit,” Cher's lawyers said in court earlier this month per People.

The hearing went over Cher's ex parte motion for a temporary conservatorship to be put over her son. The judge denied the motion citing an insufficient amount of time for Allman's representation to view the legal documents. He has also requested a change in counsel which was approved by the judge. Allman cited a “conflict of interest” as to why he wanted to switch representation. Another hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 29.
