Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant is more than convinced that Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry deserves the 2020-21 MVP award.
After witnessing Curry's greatness first-hand on Sunday in their crucial seeding battle, Morant took it to Twitter to give the Warriors sharpshooter a ringing endorsement. In fact, for the 2020 Rookie of the Year, there is “no debate” Steph is the Most Valuable Player this season.

While the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic will have something to say about that, a case can certainly be made for Stephen Curry. After all, it can be said that he has single-handedly carried the Warriors to the play-in tournament after an early blow to their roster with Klay Thompson's injury.
Responding in a big way, Curry torched the earth with his hot-shooting on a daily basis en route to finishing the regular season as the league's top-scorer. He also broke and made several new records, including his fourth 300-plus triple mark–which is the most in NBA history.

The only dent in Curry's almost-flawless MVP case is the Warriors' record. The Dubs will have to go to the play-in tournament to secure a playoff spot after finishing eighth in the Western Conference standings. On the other hand, the MVP frontrunner in Jokic has the Nuggets in the Top 4 of the wild, wild West.
Had the Warriors been a Top-6 team, the story will certainly be different. Curry has simply been that good.
One thing is for sure, though: Steph will get MVP votes when the media members make their pick.
