Overwatch will launch a new event tomorrow featuring Symmetra. The official Overwatch Twitter posted a short teaser about Symmetra's Restoration Challenge which will be open for players beginning November 17.

The challenge will require players to stack up game wins in order to collect unique Symmetra cosmetics. Unfortunately, these skins and goodies will only be available through the short event. Fans speculate that the event is related to the new short story released earlier today but there is no confirmation. The Restoration Challenge will resemble past hero challenges like Tracer's Comic Challenge and Bastion's Brick Challenge. Incidentally, the event will track win records from any of the game's modes. It will be a daunting task but players only need to rack up nine wins in order to get the skin.

Symmetra's Restoration Challenge is the first event to feature Symmetra unlocks in spite of her tenure in Overwatch since her release. This is surprising considering she's one of the game's oldest heroes. The event skin will allegedly feature a younger Symmetra as well as golden garb and a unique hairstyle.

The supposed event skin is based on the art design in the “Stone by Stone” short story. The new bit of Overwatch lore takes place before the events of the game. The story follows Symmetra's first meeting with Zenyatta and their relation to the omnic crisis.

Symmetra's Restoration Challenge will run from November 17 through the end of the month. It's time to get your friends together so you can all get that exclusive Symmetra skin. Overwatch swag is always good right?
