New Indiana Pacers guard Malcolm Brogdon opened up about his feelings on joining the team and his larger free agency process. Even though Brogdon acknowledged the difficulty and uncertainty of free agency, he stressed that he was happy that he landed with the Pacers:

“(The free agency process) was stressful. Not knowing where you were going to go, not knowing who was going to come to the table and drive the price up. But for me, it worked out. I went from one great team to another. I’m really excited to be with the Pacers.”

Malcolm Brogdon is a huge addition to an already solid Indiana team. Brogdon averaged 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists for the Milwaukee Bucks last season. Impressively, the Virginia product became only the eighth member of the coveted 50-40-90 club. He shot 51 percent from the field, 43 percent from deep, and a ridiculous 93 percent from the stripe.

Now, Malcolm Brogdon will team up with Victor Oladipo and company to help the Pacers build off a solid 2018-19 campaign. The Pacers have built themselves into legitimate contenders, especially with the departure of Kawhi Leonard from the Eastern Conference. There will be more of a chance for the Pacers to move upward in the East, with the Toronto Raptors being significantly diminished and the Boston Celtics in a very fragile state. The interesting plot twist here is that if the Pacers do improve themselves to the point that they become an Eastern Conference title contender, the team they might have to go through is the Milwaukee Bucks, Brogdon's former team.

Brogdon will take on an even bigger role with the Pacers then he has in his time with the Bucks. He has shown that he is up for the challenge.
