The Indiana Pacers could be without All-Star guard Victor Oladipo in Monday’s game against the Utah Jazz due to a knee injury.

Victor Oladipo picked up the injury during Saturday’s match with the Atlanta Hawks. He played less than five minutes in the opening quarter before asking to be substituted. The 26-year-old did not return to the game and diagnosis revealed that he has a sore right knee.

Now, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports that Oladipo could miss the Pacers’ meeting with the Jazz at Bankers Life Fieldhouse due to the issue, citing that the former no.2 overall pick is listed as “questionable” for the encounter.

The Pacers won against the Hawks even in the absence of Oladipo, but taking down the Jazz without their leader could be difficult. Utah has Donovan Mitchell at their disposal, and the presence of Rudy Gobert in the middle spells trouble for any team.

Oladipo is leading the Pacers in points (21.4), assists (4.7) and steals (1.6) per game. He is also the second-best rebounder for Indiana, grabbing 6.6 boards on a nightly basis — only behind Domantas Sabonis.

If Oladipo misses the Jazz game, it will be the first time this season that he won’t feature for the team. He started in all of the Pacers’ 16 games so far.
