Disney World is filling up with NBA players as the league prepares for the resumption of the 2019-20 season in Orlando, Florida. Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo arrived at the NBA campus rocking a Black Panther mask, giving a throwback to his 2018 Slam Dunk contest performance, while also wearing an “I Can't Breathe” shirt.

All-Star forward Domantas Sabonis and guard Malcolm Brogdon also wore “I Can't Breathe” shirts upon arriving in Orlando.

Oladipo had already decided to sit out the remaining games, but still went with the Pacers in Disney World. The two-time All-Star did not want to risk any further injuries, especially just after recently coming back from a torn quad in late January.

Victor Oladipo returned to the lineup after missing nearly a year due to the torn quad. In the 13 games he played in, it was clear that the 6-foot-4 guard wasn't back to his old form. He averaged just 13.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists, while shooting just 39.1 percent from the field. Thus, skipping the “bubble” games may be the right move for Oladipo as he prepares for the 2020-21 season.

Indiana enters Orlando tied for the no. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference with the Philadelphia 76ers. Unfortunately, while they won't have the star guard with them, the Pacers also can't replace him given that he is still technically part of the roster when the season resumes. Thus, Oladipo counts as one roster spot that they can't fill in.

Nonetheless, the Pacers will just have to work with what they have. Nobody sees them as legitimate title contenders anyway, so they'll have less pressure to perform with lower expectations.

Brogdon and Sabonis are both having career years this 2019-20 season. Those two along with Myles Turner and T.J. Warren should keep them afloat before they come back in full strength with a healthy Oladipo.
