Indiana may be open to trading either Darren Collison or Cory Joseph, according to a new report about the upcoming NBA trade deadline.

Darren Collison has a contract with the Pacers that is about to expire, so he would be a logical choice for a trade should Indiana choose to take it.

The veteran point guard has enjoyed a wonderful career with the Pacers, albeit one that is to be expected of a player of his caliber. After his impressive college career, where he played for four seasons with the UCLA Bruins, he earned NBA All-Rookie Team honors in his first season in the NBA with the New Orleans Hornets.

Additionally, Darren Collison won the Frances Pomeroy Naismith Award in his senior year as the top college player standing 6 feet or under.

So this is not a man that would be a bad addition, no matter which team picked him up.

Cory Joseph, however, is a bit of a different story. While not a bad player overall, Joseph is far from as strong of a player as Collison. The Toronto native is also the captain of the Canadian national team, and came on board to the NBA after declaring for the draft in 2011, when he was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team. His career has been otherwise unremarkable, but he has been a quality backup point guard.

Nevertheless, with the trade deadline looming tomorrow, it should be interesting to see where Cory Joseph and Darren Collison ultimately end up.
