The Indiana Pacers just fired head coach Nate Bjorkgren after a tumultuous season in which they failed to qualify for the playoffs. The Pacers did make the play-in tournament and thrashed the Charlotte Hornets, only to lose to the Washington Wizards.

After firing Bjorkgren, some are wondering if Indiana will make drastic changes to the roster as well. However, according to J. Michael of the IndyStar, the Pacers aren't likely to blow up the roster. Doing so is still on the table, but owner Herb Simon doesn't want a rebuild and would rather look to compete.

Even if there's no blowup, that doesn't mean there won't be any notable changes for Indiana. Myles Turner's name has been on the trade block for a while now, and there's reportedly a lot of interest in his services:

Don't be surprised if Turner is moved, but it looks like Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon, Caris LeVert and T.J. Warren are expected to return. With or without Turner, the Pacers have a solid core of players that could make some noise in the Eastern Conference. Things just didn't work out this season because of the poor coaching situation and health issues.

The Pacers are reportedly looking to bring in a more experienced head coach after the Bjorkgren debacle. Former Portland Trail Blazers head coach Terry Stotts is a top candidate, and it's unlikely he would be hired to oversee a rebuild.

With the right moves, Indy should be back in the playoff mix next season.
