VIDEO: Pacers’ Victor Oladipo says toughest part of rehab was handling emotions
The 27-year-old former second-overall pick said on Friday the emotional journey of his rehab has been the toughest, calling basketball his “everything” (via FOX Sports Indiana).
Oladipo says the hardest part of his rehab was emotional: “Basketball is like my engine. Basketball is my heart, my everything. … And when it’s taken away from you, it’s tough.” #Pacers

In Oladipo’s absence, the Pacers have leaned more heavily on former Rookie of the Year guard Malcolm Brogdon, who they signed as a restricted free agent the past summer, and fourth-year big man Domantas Sabonis, who was signed to a lucrative contract extension after demonstrating his continued improvement down low.
Oladipo’s pending return has been the question mark hanging over the Pacers all season, with the team gelling well right now, although the former Most Improved Player would certainly make Indiana more dangerous on paper.
