No calendar was needed in Sunday's game between the Green Bay Packers and the Carolina Panthers as the snow falling from the sky marked the beginning of everyone's favorite time of the year, snow games. The Packers were able to hold the Panthers just one yard short of the end zone on the game's final play, moving them to 8-2 on the season.

This hard-fought victory was impressive given the team's performance last week against the Los Angeles Chargers that saw them score a measly 11 points. The conditions at Lambeau were a bit more to what the Packers are used to in mid-November, as the team was able to move the ball on the ground and through the air to squeak by a Panthers team that had been playing well up to that point.

“Great teams don’t lose two in a row,” Jones said after rushing for 93 yards and scoring three touchdowns, via Jason Wilde of Madison.com. “You saw how we lost one earlier in the year, came back and proved ourselves. And I felt like that’s what we did again today”.

The Packers did indeed prove themselves on Sunday by pulling out a victory they easily could have let slip away. The team will have a week to enjoy the win as they will head on bye this week. They will be in for their toughest test of the season in Week 12 as they will head to Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara to take on the undefeated 49ers in an elite NFC showdown.
