With or without Aaron Rodgers under center for the Green Bay Packers, wide receiver Davante Adams has always found a way to produce on the field.

Adams currently leads the Packers in receptions (69 … nice), receiving yards (828), and receiving touchdowns (9), which all say a lot about the Fresno State product’s value to the team considering that he still plays alongside the pair of Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson.

Rodgers, who is making his return to action after missing seven full games due to a collarbone injury, is very much aware of Adams’ exploits, even predicting that the 24-year-old wideout’s next contract is going to be a hefty one.

By way of Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press- Gazette:

The Packers selected Adams in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft and immediately signed him to a four-year contract worth $3.93 million. That deal is about to expire at the end of this season. Based on how he’s done in the NFL so far, especially this season, Adams is definitely deserving of a richer contract.

Adams has 2,754 receiving yards in his career to go with 25 touchdowns on 232 receptions across 58 total games played.

Rodgers only hopes that the Packers will find a way to keep Adams in the fold beyond this season.

Given all the crazy numbers he has put up this season, now just imagine how good Davante Adams would look had Aaron Rodgers never missed a game this year. It's actually absurd his box-score looks as good as it does, and a testament to his abilities as a dynamic receiver.
