Packers QB Aaron Rodgers to reprise role as Jeopardy! host amid offseason drama
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been dominating the headlines ever since a rumor bomb of him wanting a trade was dropped on the first day of the 2021 NFL Draft. But that’s not the only reason Rodgers’ name has been floating all over the news this offseason. Of course, there’s also his recent appearance as a host for Jeopardy! He surely had fun trying on the shoes of the great Alex Trebek and he’s about to play that role again. Well, sort of.
According to Kendra Meinert of Green Bay Press-Gazette, Rodgers will appear in a cameo role in an episode this week of “The Conners.”
Rodgers, whose two-week stint as “Jeopardy!” guest host aired in April, is back behind the podium for an episode of “The Conners” in which Laurie Metcalf’s character of Jackie Harris is a contestant on the game show.
This could be something of a diversion for Packers fans from all the drama they have heard the past several days with regards to the Rodgers trade rumors. That has died down a bit of late, but with football still months away, don’t expect it to go away completely any time soon.
It’s been an eventful offseason so far for Aaron Rodgers, and this upcoming appearance on The Conners should just add more color than spice to it.
