Aaron Rodgers has been one of the league's best quarterbacks for much of his career with the Green Bay Packers. In the process, he has become a diligent student of the game, studying many of the game's greats to help him build upon his play on the field, including Tom Brady.

During an interview on AT&T’s Audience Network's “The Rich Eisen Show” on Thursday, Rodgers revealed that he watched every snap of the star New England Patriots quarterback's 2007 season when he was still the backup for Hall of Famer Brett Favre.

“I'm impressed. He has done it for so long at such a high level. What I love to see now and like talking to him about is his movement. He has kind of added that to his game. He has been moving in the pocket more. He is still moving throw. I watched every snap he took in 2007 and he had a phenomenal year that year when I was a backup. I was amazed at his subtle pocket movements. He could move slightly and create a throwing lane. Now he seems more back and up and more out to throw. What's impressive to me is that he's evolving and adapting.”

This was Brady's MVP season that saw him throw a career-high 50 touchdowns to just eight interceptions while holding career bests with a 117.2 passer rating and 88.5 quarterback rating. He led the Patriots to the Super Bowl behind an 18-0 record that year for what many believe is one of the greatest teams ever assembled.

The fact that Rodgers was watching Brady's movement in the pocket that entire season demonstrates what type of work ethic and mind frame he possesses that set the table for his career to pan out the way it has over the last 11 campaigns as the starting quarterback for the Packers. Rodgers has been one of the most accurate throwers and decision makers at the position in NFL history.

The Cal product has built a strong relationship with Brady over the years, furthering his knowledge of the game. This just further shows the passion and dedication that Rodgers has for the game, and the success that his peer is having at this stage of his only provides more motivation for him to continue to play at a high level.
