The Green Bay Packers were once again missing a major star at practice on Thursday. Superstar wide receiver Davante Adams hasn't appeared in a game since Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

It looks like he might be out a little longer.

At least there is some good news snuck in there for Packers fans. The fact that Adams has at least stretched for two days in a row is something. Adams not doing that inside like he is with his rehab makes you believe they are testing him out to see how he feels.

Missing Adams definitely isn't good news going up against the extremely dangerous Kansas City Chiefs. He has 378 yards on 25 receptions in just four games, putting him on pace for another monster year.

However, Rodgers proved that even without his only elite weapon, he can absolutely dismantle a defense.

He has looked perfectly fine since Adams went down. And in Week 7, Rodgers looked to be at his absolute best. The quarterback went 25-for-31 for 429 yards and five touchdowns (no interceptions). He even scored another touchdown on a run, capping an absolutely ridiculous game.

Obviously, you can't expect that type of production from anyone on a weekly basis. However, Rodgers has proven that he is not only still elite, but he can put up video game numbers at any moment.

If the Packers are going to get through the Chiefs, they'll likely need another big performance from their superstar quarterback. It definitely wouldn't hurt if Adams returned, but at this point that isn't looking all too likely.
