The Green Bay Packers are fresh off of a huge win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 14. It was a game that the Packers desperately needed to win after a rough week. Following the firing of Mike McCarthy, things in Green Bay are finally back to being normal with a big 34-20 victory.

Perhaps the craziest part of this entire week happened on Twitter. Former Green Bay tight end Jermichael Finley took to his Twitter account and boldly predicted that the Packers will sign Le'Veon Bell this coming offseason.

Making that prediction may sound crazy, but it might make perfect sense. Green Bay knows that they can no longer ask Aaron Rodgers to do things by himself. What makes this a bit more difficult is the emergence of second-year running back Aaron Jones.

Brian Gutekunst will be in his second offseason as the general manager of the Packers. He made some big moves last year, signing Jimmy Graham and Muhammad Wilkerson. In addition those two moves, he signed cornerback Bashaud Breeland in the middle of the season.

Going out and spending big bucks on Bell would be a polarizing move. On one hand, the Packers would have one of the most talented running backs in the NFL and he would take a lot of pressure off of Rodgers. On the other hand, Green Bay would be tying up a lot of money at a position that fans already like a player who is currently playing there.

Bell would certainly make the Packers a much more dangerous offensive team, but the contract he wants is going to be massive.

All of that being said, the Packers are going to be an intriguing team to keep an eye on this offseason. Green Bay wants to get to another Super Bowl and if they want to go all in, Bell might very well be the guy they want to pursue.
