After missing practices in the middle of the week, Aaron Rodgers will start in the Green Bay Packers' first game of the season against the Minnesota Vikings. Head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed Rodgers' availability after Rodgers said he would.

Rodgers, who is dealing with a toe injury, was a limited participant in Friday's practice after missing Wednesday and Thursday. He missed Green Bay's Week 9 game due to COVID-19 protocols but otherwise has been his usual, dominant self on the field. In nine games, he has thrown for 2,186 yards and 17 touchdowns, compared to just four interceptions, with a completion percentage of 66.4 percent.

Green Bay may be without running back Aaron Jones and wide receiver Allen Lazard, both of whom did not practice this week, on Sunday. Star wide receiver Davante Adams was a full participant on Thursday and Friday, so he should be available. The Packers' rendition of the Last Dance has been led by their defense rather than their offense, but getting Rodgers and Adams healthy is vital to their success.

With Rodgers good to go, the Packers are 8-2 on the season as they travel to Minneapolis to face the 4-5 Vikings. Green Bay will look to stay in the hunt for the NFC's top seed and increase its lead in the NFC North.
